The world would be a better place if sustainable style was widely accessible to everyone, making shopping consciously an easier decision for all of us. At TALA, it’s important to us that we are continuing to make some serious moves to help make this a reality by widening customer choice in terms of sustainably and ethically produced products and where customers can buy from.

We are incredibly proud and excited to introduce our partnership with ASOS, one of the largest, most forward-thinking online fashion retailers in the world. After several months of planning and working very closely with the ASOS team, we are confident that our partnership is just the beginning in helping us to bring sustainable style to the forefront of the fashion industry, to consistently encourage conscious consumerism through our education pieces, and to make shopping sustainable alternatives more accessible and affordable for everybody. In this special edit of TALA Talks, we’re giving you the lowdown on our partnership and sharing everything you need to know about the exclusive collection!

At TALA, one of our main priorities is to disrupt the fashion industry, always striking the right balance between accessible price points and the highest possible percentage of sustainable materials in each of our products. Choosing to partner with a retailer to stock TALA was a big decision, and one we didn’t take lightly. We wanted a partner who really understood the brand and our values, and wanted to work with us to amplify what we were already doing -

  • How could we reach a new, bigger audience with the TALA brand story, encouraging more people to make conscious shopping choices?
  • Where is our current and target customer base shopping, and how could we make it easier for them to shop TALA?
  • How could we make accessible, sustainable styles available to a new customer base and directly provide an alternative to non-sustainable brands within the market?

And so, the partnership with ASOS was born. A way for TALA to compete on site with the big players, positioning us side by side and making shopping sustainable styles easier for everyone.

ASOS’s Sustainable Sourcing Programme, Fashion With Integrity Programme, Ethical Trade Programme and Environmental Policy are just some of the ways they’re working to use their influence as a force for good to promote social change, diversity and self-confidence. You can be confident that each of our ASOS styles is still distinctly TALA, sustainably made using recycled Polyamide and Elastane at our factory in Portugal (for more information, please visit Our Factories page).

Your exclusive TALA pieces will be sent to you by ASOS in our 100% recyclable product polybags and each product will still contain our seeded paper tags so remember to plant your tags and watch them grow! ASOS’s courier bags are also recyclable and crafted from 80% recycled materials.
