Waistcoat and Trousers - Bad Quality

"I’ve always admired this brand for its commitment to sustainability, female empowerment, and inclusion, which is why I was excited to try their linen trouser and waistcoat set. I love supporting companies with such strong ethical values, but unfortunately, the quality and fit of this set were really disappointing. After only a few wears, the fabric started pilling terribly, and the trousers quickly lost their shape. On top of that, the waistcoat began to discolor, making the whole outfit look worn and tired far too soon. To make matters worse, the fit was off — the trousers were oddly tight in some areas and too loose in others, and the waistcoat didn’t sit well at all. While I still deeply appreciate the brand’s ethos, this particular purchase didn’t live up to expectations. I hope they can improve the quality and fit of their products while maintaining their fantastic values!"

Nice quality but too low cut

"Bought this to wear on holiday but as a smaller chested girlie this is too low cut. Also couldn't get the matching trousers in the right size so returned. Lovely quality though and very nice fabric."

So bad fit

"I am usually very happy with sizing of clothes from Tala but this vest and the matching shorts are just not it. I am usually size M and I do not have a large chest (use a B cup) but when I tried on the M vest I couldn’t even close the top button. The breast seams are way too high up and create a bulk above the actual chest. Below the chest area the M fitted alright but I ended up having to order a size L that still fits weird. Now the torso area is too big and the bulk that is supposed to be for the breasts is still way to high up."

Nice quality, bad sizing

"This top is not made for the broad shouldered small chested girlies- felt like it was gonna pop over my shoulders but was gaping at the chest (Size 8/ B cup for reference) Top is good quality and feels really nice but something about the design is off- even when I got it on, it was so low cut my nipples were nearly popping out"

Too low cut

"Sadly this felt a bit too sexy to wear during the day for me! Would have loved a highest cut version so I could wear to the office. It looks great on the model but she has a smaller chest size than me - I’m a C cup."

I was surprised that the

"I was surprised that the xs was so tight so I exchanged for a small and that fit perfectly, so I would say the size up one to your usual size. I found that it started to gape a little at the neck line as the day went on. I’m a member of the itty bitty titty community so had I not been wearing a bra there would’ve been a lot of nipple flashes. Otherwise it does look smart but perhaps would’ve liked it to be a little thicker/sturdier."

Literal magic

"In a world full of waistcoats in shops I thought I’d never find one that fit properly until of course tala worked their magic once again. This is literal perfection. Fits like a glove, sits nicely on the waist, and no need to wear a bra at all😍 would give 10 stars if I could"

Shame on sizing

"So small :( I even bought the size up and it was popping around by boobs which are average in size. My waist is 26 inches and bust 32D - normally I’m an XS but even the S in this was too small, though the waist was way too big. Gutted as I loved the idea"

Sizing sadness

"I want to love this but the sizing is all over the place. I’m usually a medium in Tala but due to the tailored fit I sized up. Couldn’t even do up the top button so sized up again to an XL and it was still pulling at the top button. Tried a 2XL just in case and it was a huge jump up size wise. So sad as it looked lovely otherwise."
