This item is made from 100% Recycled Acetate. The Global Recycled Standard (GRS) is a voluntary product standard for tracking and verifying the content of recycled materials in a final product. Recycled acetate is made from pre-consumer waste, it is a biodegradable plastic derived from biological substances and is a better choice than regular plastics made from petroleum. Acetate is also flexible, lightweight, and fully recyclable.

Cute but not good if you have long, sleek hair

"I bought this because it’s hyped as beng perfect for longer, thick hair and it’s really pretty. I will continue using it, however the clip struggles to hold my (asian, waist length, straight) hair securely in a twist updo and I think having thicker/curly/textured hair is key to ensuring the (surprisingly shallow) claws have something to grip onto, because the pins don't reach the scalp securely if you have a lot of hair in the clip which kind of defeats the point of it being so large."

It's ok, but the first version of this claw clip is superior. . .

"I was super excited to see the claw clip making a return but was left disappointed by the quality of it vs the first batch years ago from TALA. That first release claw clip was STRONG. I have long, thick (Asian) hair, and that first clip held my hair in place. I could run in it and it would hold my hair without an issue. This model doesn't do that. . . in fact, just walking around, this claw clip cannot hold my hair longer than 10 mins. Perhaps it needs a different technique to hold my hair. . . nonetheless, I hope the first iteration of this claw clip will make a return some day."

The only claw clip that’s ever held my hair

"I have really thick hair and this is the only claw clip that has ever held it. I can go all day without having to redo which is an absolute dream! I just wish they did a smaller option for half up half down because it is really big, sometimes I feel like it’s a little too big because I have a small head haha."

not big enough for my hair

"I have just below shoulder-length, fine straight hair and the clip can't hold all of my hair - my hair is too heavy for it and it only grasps like half of my hair and then my hair falls out. I don't have this problem with other large claw clips. Gutted as I purchased it all the way from NZ"

Strong but not the most comfortable

"Definitely a good size and soooo strong. My hair doesn’t fall out at all. The teeth however are a bit long and poke into the back of my head which gets a little uncomfortable after a while."

"This one is a replacement because I broke the first one. It's perfect to keep all my hair up and looks great, I had to get another. It came very quickly and seriously well packaged. A bit pricey maybe, especial when you add delivery, but worth treating myself."
