Purple Dot is a waitlisting platform that TALA uses to allow you to pre-order products and be one of the first to get your hands on a must-have item.
What do I need to provide when I make a purchase?
You will need to provide your email, shipping address and card details. All communications will be sent to your email address, including details of how to cancel and any updates of your pre-order.
What are my payment options with Purple Dot?
Purple Dot accepts all the major card networks - Visa, MasterCard and American Express. TALA Gift cards can be used on pre-order although it is limited to only one gift card or discount code per order and they cannot be used towards the cost of shipping, other payment types are not accepted.
Can I use a discount code on my pre-order?
Most discount codes cannot be used during a pre order unless they have been communicated to be specifically applicable. only one TALA gift card or discount code can be used per order.
What happens if I cancel or return my pre-order?
You can cancel at any time here, you will receive an email confirming the refund and should see the money back in your account in 3-5 business days.
Can I change my email or shipping address?
Yes! Send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org with your updated details and a member of the customer service team will get this updated for you. You will then receive an updated pre-order confirmation email.
Can I change the items in my pre-order?
Yes provided there is stock available at the time our customer services team attempt the change. Send an email to email@example.com with your updated details and a member of the customer service team will try their best to update this for you. You will then receive an updated pre-order confirmation email.
During a launch our customer services team are extremely busy and cannot guarantee a quick response so the option to place a new order and then cancel the original using the link provided is also recommended.
Is my payment information safe?
Payment information is processed securely by Stripe. No card details are transferred to or held by TALA or Purple Dot. All transactions take place via connections secured with the latest industry-standard security protocols.
Mr Pre-order isn't showing in my order history?
Pre-orders will only show in your order history once we begin processing your order for despatch this is to enable the option to cancel at anytime before this using the link provided.
I have cancelled my pre-order. How long will it take until I receive my refund?
Once you have cancelled your pre-order, your refund will be processed within 3-5 business days.
I have asked for a refund. How will I be refunded?
Refunds are issued back to the debit, credit card or TALA gift card used at checkout.
